Volunteers will live with a Kichwa family in the “Paraiso” region of Ecuadors Amazon. The property is located on 200 hectares of protected primary rainforest and offers great views of Ecuadors most active volcano Sangay in the distance.
Marco, the father of the family, is an highly respected Shaman in the area with an incredible knowledge of the local plant and animal life in the rainforest as well as natural herbal medicine. Marco can teach volunteers about organic farming as well as the ancient traditions of his culture and be their guide to the sacred plant Ayahuasca during Shamanic ceremonies.

- $300 per month
- A $50 administration fee is charged once at the start of the program.

Minimum Time Volunteering
- 2 weeks
Volunteers will be volunteering between Monday to Friday with weekends free for leisure time or travel around Ecuador. You will have to take your own food to prepare meals in the kitchen facilities provided.
